Yes, I am a Hufflepuff.  And, yes, I am also extremely competitive.  This is something I share with my patrons, the students of Randy Smith Middle School.  
I have always been intrigued by the idea of bringing video games into the classroom.  Gaming has immediate student buy-in and frankly, it sounds like fun. I also went in knowing that I would probably have to do some tweaking to make this work in a library setting.

Where will you take your students?  
There are abundant opportunities for classes to experience virtual field trips even without expensive video-conferencing setups.  I attended an ASTE 2019 session given by Sam Jordan, the Education Technology Coordinator at the Alaska Department of Education. Sam shared various types of “virtual field trips” that are available digitally for everyone.  These virtual field trips vary greatly; from an hour or more with a presenter to 360° panoramas.
